? the kitty or the bat ?

went out yesterday to fly the bat .
it did not do to good .
i think the best part was after the crash . the motor was still going in the grass then the ejection charge went off and shoot it over Vicious's head. but it missed . LMAO ! better luck next time
just hope we got it on tape

this is all i could find

A few questions:

Did you just build it straight from the instructions?
Did you do any tests on it (Swing test etc)
Did you add any noseweight?
How exactly did it fly?
Any pics :p ?

WiK is on his UKRA RSO course and is also studying to work in the CAA's AAIB .........

Sounds like the crash ended in the same vein that my MCom Army did ... nose in the ground , motor fizzing away ..... then POP ... the BT gets ejected backwards and the chute flies out , ready for the fall of ZERO FEET !! Doh !

A few more:

When did you last see the alleged intruder?
Whodunnit?

:p

RSO?? Interesting idea

Sorry about the crash.
Have you ever seen the Flying Jenny?
It seems to be a popular boost glider. You might wanna try it.
It doesn't look as cool as your bat, but it might fly better.
The plans are on JimZ's site. I haven't built one yet but will one day. You can search the forum to find out more.
Good luck with the rebuild.

When I say "How exactly did it fly?" I mean something like: After igntion, it went up about 20ft then went unstable and flew into the ground under power.

At least you didnt buy the kit...
