Not a build thread, but thought I'd share this.
Picked this up on EBay a few months (years?) ago. It was gathering dust in my cardstock build pile so time to put it together.

Instructions are in Polish but if you've built cardstock models before that and the illustrations should get you through. Plus I'm learning some Polish words to boot.:D

This is a static display model, but I'll build with the option to add a motor mount and nose cone weight later on if I decide to.

Cut out, rolled, and glued the three main body tube segments.

And dry fitted them together.

Forgot how tedious and time consuming this was.
It's 10 PM, calling it a night.
Tomorrow, nose cone, fins, and tunnels.
(Hopefully).
Cheers.

Good morning Marten. It's designed as a static display, but I might put in a 13mm motor mount later. Leaving my options open. Too big IMO for MMX.
How are you guys holding up in New Jersey?

Good morning to you! And happy Easter. It's much more morning for you out there in the Pacific, I'm actually in PA, but not very far from the NJ border. We're hanging on alright, mostly focused on entertaining two energetic boys this morning, we might go build some rockets, or do some bike riding.

A little more progress tonight.
Fiber rings glued into the tube sections, still not permanently glued.

Display base nearly complete

Fins almost complete except for those tiny black end pieces

One wire tunnel down

Three more to go

This is the toughest part.
Forming and gluing the nose cone tip.

Stay tuned folks.

Well, I thought I could wrap this one up today but life intervened, as they say.
I did form and glue the nose cone tip using a round dowel and an ice pick.

Not perfect, but as good as it's gonna get for me.:D
When it comes to forming cardstock nose cone tips, go slowly, careful not to crease the cardstock.

Also completed the stand and glued all body tube segments together.

Will complete the tunnels and fins tonight, and glue everything together tomorrow.
That's the plan, anyway.;)
Oh, BTW I decided to build this stock and keep it a shelf queen.
Too chicken sh** to fly this.
Laters.

Last night: Completed tunnels and fins

This afternoon:
Glued tunnels to body

This evening:
Glued fins to body and filleted everything

Done!
Just need to spray a clear coat when glue is dry.

Found a couple of pics of the real Sergeant online. This model has bigger and differently shaped fins.
So I'm calling this sport scale.
Took longer than expected. A tedious but rewarding build.
The company's name is Sklej. I have a few more of their cardstock rocket kits in the build pile:
Should keep me busy.
Cheers.
