MDRA ESL 229 - August 19 - 20. Who's coming and whatcha bringing?

I will be there on Saturday. I'll have my Formula 75 on a Loki I316, and my rebuilt MAC Performance extended Scorpion on a CTI I212-SS.

My kids will be dragracing their Higg's Farm square rockets, and then I will launch one on my first D motor.

I am leaving for vacation tomorrow, we're going to Nebraska to chase the eclipse and visit the bad lands in SD.

Fun! I hope to get my family to Rapid City one of these days, to see Mount Rushmore, the Black Woods, etc. I've been to Sioux Falls, but not much to see there.

I'll be there either Saturday or Sunday with my newly finished Higgs Farm Rocket painted silver and metallic black, clearcoated, sanded, polished, and waxed. Here is a sneak preview . . .

I don't plan to fly it but if I did you would probably win. I used so much CWF on this little rocket that it would have a weight disadvantage in a drag race.

I just had a crazy scheme to stop at MDRA tomorrow on my way to view the eclipse in SC. I know it's late notice, but could you guys have a NAR L2 test ready for me?

I don't plan to fly it but if I did you would probably win. I used so much CWF on this little rocket that it would have a weight disadvantage in a drag race.

Well, if you flew, nobody probably could tell who one because of all the glare off that rocket. I want to see a photo of the eclipse, at any %, reflected off one of your rockets.

Woot, I finally got to drag race my Higgs Rocket against the legendary Tom Cohen! And Bob too. I forget who won...but who cares. Peter got a video so we will know soon I flew it again on a D12-5.

Hollie and I were there all day yesterday (Sunday) small(ish) crowd. Nevertheless, I got four great flights and recoveries.

Straight outta Bondage Madcow Pike on an I223 Skidmark,
Big Banana Daddy on an F120 Vmax,
2X Archer on a K454 Skidmark
Ravens MDRM on a G78 Blue Streak.

That K skid got my attention! Really liked the bondage rocket. At one point I walked by your camp and rotated it to see the girlfriend sticker. That scheme is worth more than a few chuckles

Yea. That was me. I saw you there and wanted to introduce myself, but I was consumed with prepping the rocket and managing my 3 kids. I had such a great time, though, that I definitely want to visit again. I'll definitely be there for Red Glare, but I may need to find an excuse to visit sometime between now and then.

Oh, you should have! Well, congrats on the L2! That chuff probably saved you some walking distance. First guy to get his L2 with an H motor. :lol:

here's both flights from the MDRA youtube channel.On The K815 flight, the quick link was loose and came off so the nose fell on its own, but since everything was nice and soft, no damage.

Thats why i want to use that motor. Also he can't spell my last name even though he was my dads boss for a decade XD
