MD retainer question

Hello Forum,

I am designing a 38 mm minimum diameter rocket. I will need a way to secure the motor in the air frame. My plan is to use a MD retainer from Aeropack. My question is: will this work with AT, CTI and Loki reloads? I have several motors from these 3 manufactures that I would like to burn. I have only used a MD retainer with a CTI motor in the past. I don't know what is involved with switching brands of motors and connecting them to the MD retainer. Anyone have experience with this?

According to https://aeropack.net/min_dia_retainers.asp you need an adapter for CTI motors, and all others you need a forward closure with a 5/16-18 tapped hole. The standard AT non-plugged closure won't work. I don't know if Loki closures have tapped and non-tapped variants. [edit: from https://lokiresearch.com/secure/store.asp?groupid=5520031443530 seems like Loki closures are tapped 1/4-20, so is this a typo on the Aeropack page?]

Thanks for the reply Mikec. It seems like I might want to contact Loki, or maybe if I dig out a Loki motor it will be obvious.

I think 1/4-20 is right for Loki 38 & 54, then it jumps to 3/8-16 at 76mm.
