Hey, I'm cloning a Maxi Alpha 3 with plywood fins and will be simulating the red bands in the fin unit with paint. Of course, in the original those were part of the plastic fin unit. I need some help with the how wide those red bands are. In photos they look like maybe 1/2" but maybe even a bit longer. I've got all the other measurements for body tubes. Just need that last measurement.

P.S. I just got an email from Stickershock about his bargain bin he's offering now. He had a set for the Maxi Alpha 3 made for a 2.5 in body tube. Close enough to the BT-80 size and with the huge savings I snatched it up.
