When I was young, the Museum of atomic energy had a mockup of a Little Boy out front; I can remember sitting on it doing the slim pickens scene from Dr strangelove. :)
Back in the early 70's(this would have been the late 60's; silver dimes went out in 64.) they had a machine you could put a silver coin into, and it would make it radioactive for a few minutes. :) You got it back sealed in an aluminum disk with the museum name around the coin.
When silver dimes went out of circulation, they stored the machine.
Fun fact:
The implosion bomb was referred to as fat man to make anyone that intercepted the message would think of Churchill, and the Gun bomb was going to be 21 feet long, and was referred to as Thin Man(roosevelt); when it was realized that plutonium was implosion only, the much shorter bomb was then named Little boy.

That was a good story and some nice history. Thank you for sharing.
When I was also a young man my Father took us out to Davis-Monthan Air Force Base in Arizona. I remember the FATMAN mockup they
had there. Dr Stragelove I do remember that one.
