Here is a pic of my GF with my Madcow Frenzy XL. This should probably be in the gallery, but I wanted to show off here to get a bigger audience. Its flown twice on 54mm Ks, and half of it is still in a tree. Hope to get it back soon.

Here is a few pics of my newest build, a Mad Cow Frenzy. I used a "SpaceX Dragon" theme.

Vinyl by Stickershock - the mirror finish on the gold and silver graphics should really reflect the sun at apogee and make tracking easy.

Welcome to the Madcow Frenzy Gallery on TRF.

This gallery showcases the Madcow Frenzy and those rockets derived from it. Particularly appropriate in this thread are the following:

Madcow: Frenzy (4"): K-160
Madcow: Frenzy XL (4"): K-163
Madcow: Frenzy Massive (5.5" FG): K-165

as well as any upscales, downscales, clones, kitbashes or other derivative works. Even Goonies qualify!

This was the last scheduled launch of 2013 at the OROC Brothers launch site.

This is my Madcow Frenzy on a AT J275W-14. This was a really great flight on a really cool motor. One of the things I love about flying this rocket is the way that it whistles all the way to apogee. This time was no different. The Adpet22 on board beeped out the altitude as 3,308. Here is a photo of the rocket just before launch (I have no actual launch photos from this weekend).

Here's some shots of my Madcow Frenzy 4" being flown for an L2 cert at NY Power this weekend. L2 Cert flight was done with CTI J381SK to a predicted altitude of 2500'

And mine, not as pretty as Nathans but its a blast to fly. Its a clone, 3" Loc tube w/FG wrap, 3inch 5:1 Pinnacle NC, DD and zipperless.

Beautiful! What color is the "orange" that you used and where did you find it?

That is Duplicolor Burnt Orange Metallic lacquer applied with a paint gun, followed with three coats of clear lacquer and then wet sanded and polished. Duplicolor lacquer is available in quarts at many auto supply stores. I got it at Pep Boys (which will soon be gone because they were just bought out by Bridgestone).

After one year and 12 flights my Frenzy was getting pretty scuffed up. Whenever I fly it at the sod farm it seems to end up in the gravel parking lot. So I repainted it a few months ago. I plan to fly it this weekend for the first time since the repaint and just realized that I hadn't taken any new pictures yet. So here it is with a new paint job. This is Duplicolor yellow, black, and white lacquer with 4 coats of clear lacquer, sanded and polished . . .

Good God man, that looks amazing. Can you come over and paint my rockets too...?

just...wow...I thought mine had a smooth finish...

Here’s my Frenzy XL. Easily my favorite rocket currently in my fleet. Flown it five or six times since I built it back in 2016. And the paint doesn’t look nearly as good as it does in these photos anymore. The decal was custom made by stickershock using photos of my fin can to make the carbon look. Flight picture is it’s first flight at Red Glare 18 on an AMW K670 Red Rhino.
