I was completely surprised to discover a 5.5 FG V2 on the madcow website this morning... anyone got that kit? Any comments appreciated.. just hope to see it at the madcow black sales....

I purchased one of the V2s a couple of weeks ago. Mike had parts for a few of them ready at that time. The kit is top quality everything fits very well. Even the fins slid right in to the slots. It will be a great seller so act fast if you want one.
 
at less than $ 300 ....... wowwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww
 
Just ordered one...oops. Maybe I should've waited for Black Friday?

Ha! I'll see what I can do. I'm building the thing with West Systems so I'll need something to do while the epoxy cures! Perhaps a build thread? I've never done one before :eyepop:

Fedex just showed up on my doorstep and brought my V2 kit from Madcow! Fast shipping, of course, I live in the same State as Madcow.

Yes, but you are so close to my favorite seafood, the tender, sweet tasting, Maine lobster. I'll bet you're already starting to feel better.

Yes, for Thanksgiving we have a giant lobster in the center of the table instead of a turkey. And we have mashed scallops as well as clam strip casserole-- Just kidding. But I wish I wasn't!

Come out here sometime!
 
Are you sure you got all out of the box? In my box I had rail guides,u-bolts, and shock cord. It must have been missed. Give Mike a call I am sure he will get things right.

I'm going to go back to sleep and maybe when I wake up I'll forget that I even posted in the first place. Yes, shock cord and rail guides are there. Previous post deleted.
