MAC Performance "New XX Phenolic Airframe"

LIMITED RELEASE OF NEW XX PHENOLIC AIRFRAME ON SELECT KITS!
We're excited to finally release of our new line of XX phenolic airframe in all three sizes (54mm, 3" and 3.9"). Right now it will be available in limited quantities and on select high power kits. The XX phenolic airframe is lighter, stronger, more dimensionally consistent and has better static balance. It also has an extremely smooth OD like fiberglass. Of course we will continue to carry our signature Canvas.
Just how strong is this stuff? Conway Stevens from Northern Colorado has flown a piece of our 54 to 27,700 and Mach 3.1 on a shake down flight with a K375 ) Dual Thrust (not quite a full K) for his "K" record attempt which will take place at NSL Memorial day weekend in Alamosa Colorado. Awesome product Mike! I absolutely love it.

It's easy to finish and paint, everything slides smooth together. The stuff is seriously stout and no where even close to as brittle as other phenolic. The weight savings is awesome. It bonds really well. It's water proof. Just an all around great airframe tube. Looking forward to future projects to push the limits of the tube.

The XX is very easy to work with, Mike's tube tolerances are exceptional.
