Evaluating my Cesaroni 75mm6G options, typically a big fan of blue and disappointed by red motors, but for whatever reason this geometry seems to favor latter. Any firsthand accounts of either?

Of course, this is assuming I could even have a choice between the two given current availability.

I never had the M2045, but I love the M2150. Maybe it's just me, but I think the reds are better in larger motors.

Here is an M2150 in my upscale Estes Yellow Jacket.

Nice shot! Thanks for sharing.

I had long thought Cesaroni red significantly less powerful than their blue, but now that I look closer, in most sizes that seems to cross over at or around the six grain motors. Also as you note the flame looks much, much more awesome in the larger motors.

I loved the M2045, it was a really cool motor. These photos of my first L3 attempt were taken at Fire in the Sky by Jim Wilkerson.

I'm definitely going to be flying the M2150 next time though.
