Been out of the game for some time.
Got the shed half cleaned out.
Sat down and decided to built a rocket to go with the engine mount I came up with yrs ago.
My old buddy Gary Byrum ( r.i.p.) saw this mount idea just before he left us.
Thought of him turning a cone at the time.
Anywhoo...life goes on for some of us.
BT 80.
BT 50 stuffer
50x60 rings with a short piece of 60.
Bamboo rods.
The fins are unbreakable counter top samples.
Razor thin and STRONG.
Heavy. ??? .its a trade off.
Haven't put a piece on the scale yet.
I know it works for this builds look.
Enjoy.

Very cool conceptually. Not sure if you're going to enclose the area below the reinforcing rods or if you're going to enclose both the rods and the engine mount in a shroud/reducer, but it would be visually fascinating even if left open.

Pigmented the can.
Added some detail.
Cover plate with handel and fastener looking things.
Trying to make it look somewhat like a real missile.
Gons be a tank, but I was never about altitude n speed.
Fat- bottom, low n slow.

Open for sure.

I try to avoid launching rockets that cause reproductive harm, but maybe I’m just a wimp.

then again, while I wasn’t born in California, I did nursery school through high school there, so maybe that explains it.

More detail.
Use as a launch lug.
