Thanks for the offer.

I gotta figure out what I'm gonna build.

I was considering an extended Warlock turned dual deploy, but I figured I would have to glass it. My dad used to own a fiberglass sailboat company so I'm pretty familiar with FG but I don't want to add the variable in my L3.

Maybe a Formula 200

I need to study motors, and build around the field and a motor.

Still looking.........and open to suggestions....

Formula 200 is a good beefy rocket that should easily handle a level 3. If you launch in Camden, 3000-5000 feet will maximize your chances at recovery.

Chuck I got my L2 since you've been in TX.

I'm planning for an L3, about a year from now.

Sorry. That is a typo. I meant to type level 3.

I personally won't fly over 3000 there just in case there are any issues. The area around the field is definitely not forgiving.

I bumped just under a mile high on my L2 using a J350.

It stayed on the field but just barely. I used DD but opened my main around 800.

The point of keeping it low on that field with a cert flight is to recover the rocket when your dual deployment fails and you pop out the main at altitude.
