"Doc" contacted me about doing some more formal and stringent testing on kevlar thread. Now, I have many yards each of several weights to offer, but it'd be better if we had other samples of the same or similar weights, from different batches.
Anyone out there got a bunch of kevlar they'd donate for testing?
We're also considering testing ejection charges to see what the heat really is, and use that temp for further testing, so we may also be asking for a few donated motors.
But that's later. Right now we need to find out if there's a few folks out there who are willing to give, say 10 feet of kevlar thread for the cause.
