What exctly are we looking for? The OP shows connectors were you lock the wires into the connector. There is no connector lock to hold them together. Post 2 shows connectors that lock together. Totally different concept than what the OP shows. I originally thought like Buckeye based on the thread title, and had a response, until I looked at the ones the OP shows.

I tried that however there is something wrong with the site and the site does not navigate well. I have added several to my cart and when you go back it randomly erases your cart and you have to start over. It did this to me several times. Also the shipping seemed high for wires. $67. for 15x 18 inch long sets and then $24 for ground shipping.

If you are looking to lock the connectors together, I use tape. I have used this method for over 60 years of flying RC aircraft and never had a connector disconnect.

Probably a flakey shopping cart calculation. Send them an email for clarification.

Looking for 22awg locking wire connectors to be used in my altimeter bay.

Anyone ever use these? https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0C899Q1Q5/ref=ox_sc_act_title_1?smid=A1Y3KZGV40H0W3&th=1

Or any better recommendations?

I'm not sure of the reliability of those in regards to the crimped connection to the wire. It looks to me like it's not a very positive connection and I'd be concerned about wires pulling out of the connectors.

I use JST-RCY connectors in all my av-bays. You can get them pre-soldered with leads or get a connector kit with a crimper to make your own. They aren't 'locking' connectors but they attach very firmly and I've never had any work loose on their own.

Here's my latest av-bay setup. The female connectors are epoxied in place on the sled with a 3D printed holder.

cheers - mark

@markg I do the same. I like those JST-RCY connectors. All of my switch harnesses utilize them and that's what I solder in for the eggtimer stuff. For my altus hardware I have JST-RCY to JST-PH pigtails made up to convert over. Nice tight fit that doesn't come loose unless you want it to and in a small enough form factor for rocketry.

I use quite a few RCY series connectors. I use a dollop of hot-melt glue to lock it in place, if needed. It breaks off easily with pointy pliers when needed.

If you want true positive locking connectors, my favourites are the Molex Micro-Fit 3.0 series. You can get them at Digikey.

I've ordered from Mike/Binder before, he adjusts/refunds excessive shipping costs FYI.
