Does anyone know if the LOC Magnum with a central 54 mm and 6x 29 mm can fit Aero Pack or or something similar for retention? It looks crowded but it might work. Thanks, Alex

Rich is right - most of the time, the only option on these LOC clusters is the GL Slimlines. I have used them with success in the past. In the photo below, there is a LOC cluster with 5 x 38mm - the Slimlines just barely fit. Aeropack retainers will almost definitely not fit.

One option is to use a Slimline retainer on the 54mm tube (to make it easier to adapt down to a 38mm motor) and Z-clips on the 29mm tubes (it seems unlikely that you would want to use 24mm motors in a rocket this big).

Here is a picture of my Iroc (also a 5.5" airframe like the Magnum) with a very similar cluster except it has a central 38mm. Its very tight to get the Aeropack nut on with the outboards already installed but if you install it first, it goes on no problem.

So, this might give you an idea on what a 54mm would look like.

54mm should work but the 29's will need to be pushed to the outer edge of the CR.
