I agree with your .02 Have order a 38mm tube. two weeks delivery. Will post progress once I start the build. Did you scale down size your wraps from George's wraps?
My hand gives some perspective and a sense of the scale of this rocket. Joe now sports a new nose cone assembly waiting on the vynl top clear coat to dry and its ready for flight again.
Yes and no. I got most from him and some from one of the rocket plans sites forget which one. Ill find it and post.
No problem I scaled back the AutoCAD drawing I did for the larger Estes s models and got it to fit the new tube size.
Flight ready again.
Is your CM capsule hollow. If so did you have to add any weight to the nose area? The Estes kit had a lot of clay in the CM.
Yes and yes. About .1oz of Bluetack the glued on a cover to screw the eyescrew on to.

One on left is hollow (fresh print) and the one on the right flew 5 flights the bluetack is behind the bulkhead.
I correct the last post the capsule and bluetack is .52oz about .1oz of blue tack.
I string tested it with a C5 in it and it is fine. I like B's for the flights seem to be about perfect for my location.
Flight ready with a B4-4 is 2.75 oz not very heavy at all. Performance is very good.

Yes it was today sucks rain. Both were scratch built with 3d ptinted parts. The 1340 fin can was designed by Jack Hydrazine it is PETG.

Type of plastic used in 3D printing i find it easy to use and tough.

Not yet, but as you can see from the other posts im making a slightly bigger one with a built tower, it will have body wraps also.
Reviewed this thread and could not find a reference to a slightly larger one with a built tower. What is the diameter of the main body tube on this one? Is there a new thread?
Here it is 2.13" OD to fir a shipping tube i have. More to follow. 3D printer parts coming today to fix it and resume printing.
Closer look at the pics and I now see the new bigger diameter on the capsules. A little more room diameter and length wise for chutes and ejection charge blast.
