Little Joe II upscale build

I am building a upscale of the Estes little Joe II. Does anybody have a good Idea to make the corrugated skin on the the main tube. Thanks VDJ

Great idea...my favorite rocketry subject.
How much upscaled?
Might make a difference in your options.
I did an 8.5" dia. upscale, and my local Hobby Shop had 3/32" basswood strips that worked very well.
