Launch Report: Public Missiles Mini Black Brant X and Aerotech Mustang

This weekend I finally launched for first time the Black Brand X that I bui!t years ago. It's an all composite rocket that has a piston eject system. With my new heavier pad I launched it on an Aerotech G80-7 motor. 136 n-s! I was not expecting such a take-off for a large rocket. Almost totally out of sight. The 30" chute with spill hole brought it down quickly...although it was quite a drift away!

The Mustang was launched on an Estes f15-8....too long a delay but worked out ok! I love those black powder long burns....slow lift off and long burn!

Put a small 14" nylon chute in and came down just short of the road!

The Mustang is a beast on RMS F24, one of my favorite backyard flyers!
