Here is an example of a VERY high-power rocket launch filmed from a drone:

And a few less powerful but still fun rocket launches filmed from drone's perspective:

Here's a friend's recent successful Level 3 certification flight. I was flying the drone.

Ill always share my favorite Italian rocket video which I like to call: The one place you shouldn't have your drone

One in a million !

It's like that one time when my Cub scout rockets hit a bird in mid-air.
Never saw the bird coming (herding an army of scouts limits your field of view), and it, somehow, sorta, flew away with a streamer implanted in its wing.

Moms were horrified.
Kids were ecstatic!

I’ve used a drone a lot to film big launches. In my opinion the launch view from a drone is just ok. It is more about getting a good view of the pad and rocket ready to fire. The launch is so fast that you only get a few frames. I use “point of interest” mode to keep the drone in a continuous circle far enough out that it won’t get hit by the wake at launch. Here is an example with the launch slowed down 8X.
