Launch Controller Help

Ooookay...

I'm hoping to build a Relay Controller. I know practically nothing about electronics ( ) and wouldnt mind some help through this.
Heres what Im wanting:

• To use a car battery for the power source
• An Audible continuity check
• A key thingy for the safety key

I have absolutley no idea how to go about doing this, and would appreciate any help!!!

Also, would this be enough to launch my Hydra 7 with a clip whip?

for the audible thing... maybe an onboard computer speaker... u know, the thing that beeps when you press too many keys at once...

You may want to pay a visit to your local Radio Shack. They have lots of good stuff that you may want to use. I am not sure you would need a car battery. You may want to use something a little smaller because it is cheaper and more portable. As for the relay idea...If you have never made a regular controller I would not recommend making a relay beacause there is a lot of things you must learn.

I use an audio socket and jack for the "key" and a sealed lead acid battery.
