So there's this thing going called the Lander Challenge and I want to put together an entry. I have a dozen or so different ideas as to how to go about it. The biggest thing in my way is the lack of help. My brother is here but his rocketry experience is far more limited than mine. Also, I'm in the middle of West Texas, where there's nary a rocketeer in sight. I'm asking anyone within a day trip of Odessa/Midland who might like to collaborate to email me. I'll only be able to meet for launch tests and other things on the weekends as I work second shift. I can work on things during the week, I just can't get very far from home for very long. I'm still looking to put together a club in the area but that may or may not pan out anytime soon.

The lander challenge has a website at:

http://www.landerchallenge.com

and they have a Yahoo group at:

Peace

That is REALLY cool! I had never heard of this competition before. Unfortunately, North Carolina is a bit far from West Texas so I can't help you out there. I think it would be really cool to do something like this at one of our local launches or one of the National launches.
