Just won a Nike-K..cheap too ! and a question

Pretty excited at the moment. I've been wanting to find a Nike booster to use for a Nike-Sandhawk combo, and saw a Quest Nike-K at Ebay. Just won it for $4.25. Heck had to pay more for S&H -$6 bucks - but for 10 total, I think I made out pretty good.

Has anyone used the Nike booster as the basis for any other kits or scratchbuilt designs ?

Heck, this might lead to a Nike-Hercules combo since I could eaily clone it. 8)

you could do a Nike ASP, or Nike tomahawk.

Peter Alway has used just the main body of the Nike (also the same as the Quest Nike Smoke) for several.

It does take a "special" stage coupler but that's really easy to make.

The entire Nike line interests me, especially the NightHawk, so I'm certainly open to any possibilities to add more scale designs.

I've got Peter's ROTW, plus the data that Richard Hay sent me on the N-S combo - but any suggestions you might have on the coupler would certainly be welcomed and appreciated. 8)

That looks to be the most difficult part of the Nike-Sandhawk configuration, although I plan to have a rear ejection system for the Nike booster - with chute in the upper Sandhawk stage.

Once I get the Quest kit, I can start looking at what I need.

These are a few of the styles of transitions needed for the various NIKE-something rounds.

The 1.18 is the O.D. of the Quest tube. The other dimensions are approximates.
