Just wanted to say Hello Everyone.

Just wanted to first stop in and say hi to everyone and introduce myself.

My name is Gary and I am yet another BAR. I got into Model Rocketry when I was about 14 (24 years ago) but was born again last November when I thought I would go check out something called RocStock. I don't remember what site I was on that had a reference to this forum but once I saw it I had to signup. I Live in So. California (Riverside County) and am now a member of ROC and NAR. I just received my Level 1 Cert. at RocStock in June and keep looking to the future at more projects.

In reading several posts the last few days I have noticed that there are quite a few poeple here that look like they also live in So. Cal. and go to the ROC launches. Anyway, I am looking forward to meeting some of you out on the lakebed and making some new friends here.

Welcome back to rocketry and welcome to TRF! I am certain this must be exciting for you. There are a lot of people coming back to the hobby as BARs on this forum.

I am from Florida but will be attending ROCStock XX (along with member Jason Toft aka jetra2) this November. For us it'll be a chance to see some mean rockets and to meet the rocketeers on the west coast of the U.S. In addition, we'll be there in support of Eric Williams who will be participating in the "Tour de Deuce" project. By then California will be either the 24th or 25th state to fly a pair of FlisKits Deuces Wild! rockets. Maybe will see you out there!

Anways, welcome to TRF. This forum is full of helpful and knowledgeable people. Feel free to ask questions and be sure to post pictures.

I think you'll find this both a friendly and helpful lot, and you'll most likely have fun here. Also, the ROC folks are a great bunch.

If you have a chance, also check out Plaster Blaster , RocStock's younger brother, down near El Centro. It's still only a couple hours drive from Riverside County, and it's going to be a blast (pun intended).

Yep, I will be going to Plaster Blaster. Several things being launched there that I don't want to miss. I am planning on flying on Sat. as well. Mabey I will see you there.
