Rocket Contest at Jackson, Michigan, Community College
The Huron Valley Rocket Society will hold its annual Spring Thing contest next weekend, May 29, 2004 at Jackson Community College, south of Jackson, Michigan We usually start late in the morning, though if people are slow it might be early afternoon. We'll reschedule if the weather is completely hopeless, but a sprinke or two during the day is no reason to cancel.
EVENTS:
1/4A Boost Glide
A Helicopter Duration
1/2A Super-Roc Duration
B Streamer Duration
You are welcome to fly the contest, you are welcome to sport-fly, and you are welcome to watch. If you come to watch, we encourage you to sport-fly. If you come to sport-fly, we encourage you to try your hand at the contest events as well. If you come to fly the contest, we encourage you to fly non-contest stuff, too.
