This was another of the Centuri classics I could never get to work as a kid.

I had one of these when I was a kid...painted exactly like yours if I remember correctly (we are talking circa 1973 here). I had several quite spectacular flights with it...none particularly successful. On one it took a diving run into the side of a hill where it ejected the nose and started a small grass fire that was easily put out (the grass wasn't that dry). The most spectacular flight I had was when it went up about 50 feet, took a hard left turn and flew, under power, on a very nice horizontal track towards our barn. It looked like a real jet...until one wing clipped a telephone wire right at the pole. The wing and part of the rudder on that side were neatly removed and the model did a nice tumbling fall from there.

I'd really like a chance to fly this one again in hopes that I actually see a gliding flight with it. Regardless, I expect it to be fun...
