Well folks, I'm back and NERRF was a blast.

I still have some folks on my list that have not received their gifts yet and I believe I have a good handle on who hasn't. But just to verify things, please pop a PM to me if you haven't received a gift and I will see what I can do to start prodding your Secret Santa to hurry up. We are still 10 or 11 days away from July 4th, so we still have a fair amount of time but I want to make sure that no one gets left out.

I told you that it was a self portrait. I felt bad because Jim had this very nice santa suit for me to put on, but I was filthy from head to toe because of multiple rocket recoveries in the mud. I had mud caked all over. My wife wouldn't let me walk around the house until hosed off when I got home. After I cleaned up a bit and I went back out to unpack my truck, I opened the door and took a whiff..... EWWWW. Didn't realize how stinky I was. GOd I had fun!!!

Well, well, well!!! It has been a VERY busy morning. Santa has been busy wrapping all the gifts and writing up the directions for the Box O' Bonnza II.

I sure hope my "SS victim" (Opps I mean recipient!) has fun with it!!!!!

I'm back!!! Our town Post Master said that the package should be delievered to some LUCKY person by this Friday!!!

I went to Hobby Lobby yesterday and they must have heard about us and that Christmas now in July. They are already putting out their Xmas stuff!:rotflol:

I read the autobiography of the founder of Hobby Lobby. The Christmas stuff comes out early since they are selling supplies to crafters who will be making and selling Christmas stuff at craft shows in October/November and they need time to do what they do. He said in his book that as surprising as it is that they start this early, they regularly have a lot of requests to get the stuff out even earlier.:surprised:

I saw lots of the "craft type" of Xmas stuff out, but also saw lots of the ready made stuff too like ornaments. Guess if it's selling. There must be something to it. I'm not even close to thinking about Christmas yet.....at least the one in December.......while walking through the garage, my SS gift started talking to me again......open me....open me!!!:surprised:

Good news. I've now heard or confirmed that everyone will be taken care of. If you haven't gotten a gift yet, it is on its way.

On July 4th, some people have wanted to get together for a chat session. I haven't quite figured out the TRF chat, but there is a nice conference area over at RocketryOnline. It also has some kind of logging ability so if you jump in late, you can see what others have said. I'm going to jump on at about 8 or 9 am (EST). I'll try and be on for a couple of hours, but I have somewhere to be at around noontime.

I'll also start an Official What d'ya get Secret Santa thread. Stop on by, post a picture, post a message, and brag what you got.

Been running around like a Chicken with my Head cut off lately.
Youngest daughters 1st child (our 13th grandkid) in Chicago.
Youngest son having surgery in Little Rock (lung biopsy).
We have his 4 kids ranging from 1-6. Are we ever out of practice with that.(Whew :surprised.

I'm catching up with a lot now including this forum and can now report that I have received my SS gift (can't wait to open it) and Layne at PemTech has helped me get my recipient's out. He got what he wanted most.
