Just got back from the local launch meeting - first of the year.

i'd like to point out that we are all friends, but a bit of gentle ribbing goes off.

One of the guys sent up a Sky torpedo on a RMS F - something.

just after burn out the ejection charge fired extremely early, in the 20 - 30 or so seconds it took the rocket to land, we "his friends" had set up and laid bets on the size of the zipper.
i was way off with 2 inches.

thought i'd share the photo with you all.

the guy whos rocket it was is getting married in three weeks, so he's got more than just a body tube to lose.
it was not a great day for loses as we also lost a RMS casing, and had two rockets pop fins - there were several good flights however.
