Is nylon 12 a frangible material?

Hello,

I'm doing some research in some material properties. I'm trying to figure out if nylon 12 is a frangible material. The company I work for is looking to possible use it as a motor case and possible launch at a Tripoli launch site. Could someone tell me if nylon 12 is a frangible material? I know there are several types of nylon 12 and I'm not sure what type were looking into.

This qualifies as Hybrid, Research, High Powered Motor.

Nylon12 is a thermoplastic used for frangible ammunition, so I'm guessing yes.

I'd recommend having this discussion with the Prefect / RSO etc. of your intended launch site, and/or the research section of these forms.
