Introduction Simon & Cardiff University

Hi all,
I am Simon. I have been into space related topics since I was very young. I got into rocketry in 2018 building my first scratch build for the UKSEDS National rocketry championships, of which I placed third. I setup the first team within Cardiff University, we have been building rockets every year since.
I have built stages, clusters, big, small, minimum diameter, “fat boys”, chip cones, 3D printed rockets etc. I have been involved in developing the airframe, electronics, payload, motor selection, organisation, requirements tracking, time planning and more.

I have reached out to the community and plan to do more rocketry industry focused talks within the university. I joined the forum as I understand it has a wealth of expertise and knowledge within it.
I look forward to meeting you all in time.
