Internet is running slow today

We were told that we wouldn't get high speed internet for at least another decade in out rural desert town but with the push to bring internet to these areas I am can now complain that while our speeds are low today they are still better than most places in the Los Angeles area. The only problem is that it will bring in more people.

Speaking as someone who lives too far out for decent internet from town ; but still within the exclusivity area of the local incumbent monopolies ( AT&T, COX ) -- my bitterest congratulations :-D
