Hi All,

I recently watched a lot of videos and read some texts about interesting rocketry ideas, mostly futuristic/new ideas and I was wondering if anyone here was interested in them or can share what videos/texts they have read and seen.

Apologies in advance if this is the wrong place to post this.

Some of the latest ones I read/watched:
  • SABER engine (research gate, wiki) - A Synergetic Air Breathing Rocket Engine, i.e. air + fuel, intended for SSTO.
  • Pulsed dentation engine (wiki, wiki(jet)) - uses detonation waves to combust the fuel and oxidizer mixture.
  • Salt water rocket engine (video - Scott Manley, wiki, paper) - a theoretical type of nuclear thermal rocket.

This is truly interesting: The Burya.
Planned as a Mach 3 intercontinental nuclear ramjet cruise missile.

like the Navajo, but with a cockpit! Well, the possibility of a cockpit anyway!

Nice, What was the propulsion system used?
The boosters were the four chambered S2.1150 engine burning nitric acid and amine. The sustainer was a RD-012U ramjet.
payload was a 2190kg nuclear warhead. Only one mostly successful flight at Mach 3.1
