Installing OpenRocket issues

When I try to install on Ubuntu 18.0.4 with apt install, it installs but doesnt show up. And running the .jar file results in the startup screen showing up for 1/2 a second and then closing.
When I try to install on Windows with JRE 10 and JDK 10 installed, the bug report that shows up is attached.

I am running Linux Mint 19 (based on Ubuntu 18.04 LTS) and found similar issues. To get my version running I downloaded OpenRocket directly from their web site (https://openrocket.info/index.html). Then I installed the IBM-java80-jre package (IBM Java runtime environment 8.0) through Synaptic. Then my version opened properly.

Thanks for replying. I found an installer in somebody's Dropbox that worked on windows.
