I made some "inert" grains for a show and tell motor. I replaced the AP with table salt. It came out pretty good. I did run out of table salt and had to use some sea salt which made then not so realistic.

Great display item! (did you get angry one day and decide to saw a motor case in half?)

I remember finding that gif when 1st learning about high power motors to compete in IREC. Did you create it (or know who did?)
 
Either you've got a little mistake, or (much more likely) I've got something to learn from this. On the tight side as pictured, i.e. the top of the motor, above the propellant grains, is what I take to be a delay grain. But there's no ejection charge or opening in the forward closure for ejection gas. Is it just for tracking smoke?

Also, nice job. Really nice.
 
That motor was a spent AT M 98mm motor. There are no 98mm or 75mm motors that use motor ejection.
