As you may or may not be aware, there is a piece of malicious code called "Conficker" which is set to update on April 1.

Please check to see if your computer is affected by navigating to the following two sites (please watch the wrap on the URLs):
https://www.mcafee.com
https://www.symantec.com/norton/theme.jsp?themeid=conficker_worm
https://www.symantec.com/norton/theme.jsp?themeid=conficker_worm&inid=us_ghp_link_conficker_worm

If you cannot access any of these sites site on your computer, (i.e., if you try them all and fail them all), you probably have the worm on your computer as it blocks these sites.

If you have problems with your computer, I would suggest making sure you have the latest version of either Mcafee, Norton, Symantec, ESET Nod32, AVG, or ClamAV antivirus installed before April 1, and make sure that you have installed this Microsoft Patch (MS08-067):
https://support.microsoft.com/kb/958644

This should be installed when you go to the microsoft update website and install the critical updates.
