but CA-ing the pellet to the e-match and sliding it into the motor doesn't count as experimental, since its just the igniter that's different right?

Don't crimp, use copper foil tape. Copper foil tape to HPR is like masking tape for LPR. Gotta have it.

Confined energetics in storage & transport is always risky. NO confinement, no end closures, no pipe bombs....
