I have an old 3.9 nosecone ( at least 10 years ) and was told it was a LOC nosecone
The nosecone has 2 ribs 1 near the bottom and the other near the
top of the nosecone's shoulder. The bottom of the nosecone has been removed.

PML indicates in it's nosecone description it has sandable ribs.
Did LOC or any other company ever have ribs on it's 3.9 nosecones back in 2005-2006 ?

Yes, the LOC nose cones have the ribs, as do the Giant Leap Pinnacle nose cones.

None of my LOC cones have ribs. The one on my Madcow and the Pinnacles do though.

I am leaning towards it being a PML nosecone as it is 16 7/8 inches long and I don't see LOC
having one that long

That's what I wondered. The Ace cones I have say Ace on them though I think. very light weight cones.

It is not a ACE nosecone as I was the one to cut off the bottom and I would have
remembered the threaded opening on the bottom where the cap screws onto.
And this nosecone has a beefy build to it.
