Awwww, thanks Rocketry Forum for missing me so much!! I know it's been a whole month and a half since my last post, but gosh, I had no idea I was missed enough to warrant an e-mail begging me to come back and post more!

Rich, not a day goes by that I don't miss you. Why have you forsaken me? You don't call, you don't write....you don't love me anymore!

Wait a minute here, I thought you “Quit Rocketry®™” quite some time back…

And nobody, anywhere, ever missed Kevin.

OK, ok, since nobody missed me, I think it's time to make this thread magically disappear. I'll do it the way I used to do it in the old days.

Knob.

When you used to send more time here, was that your nickname?

I miss the Dumas Bros. Sadly, I bet nobody knows who they were either.

Times have changed, I'm crawling back in my hole. :)

The last recovery that I witnessed was something less than a shovel recovery. A shovel recovery requires that at least the "up" part of your flight go well...

Sorry Kev. It WAS pretty spectacular.

Robert DeHate, Rich Pitzeruse, and.... Mark Simpson?
Steve Gerber, John DeMar, Joel Rogers, Todd Moore, and Paul Robinson (RIP).

I give those guys the most credit in the world. They understood better than anyone that going out in the field and playing with our toy rockets is supposed to be fun. I never saw one of them take this schtick seriously. One of my prized possessions is a beer glass Todd gave me @ NYPOWER13 when he told me that in a just world, I might have qualified to be a Dumas.
