Hypertek MM length?

I have a hypertek 54MM with the 835cc tank.
The motor is 31" long.
The motor tube in the kit is 22" long.
Will it work or do I absolutely need a longer motor tube?

You really only need to support the motor to just a little beyond the injector bell. I think your MMT would be sufficient the way it is. Keep in mind though that your tank is going to be sticking up into the airframe for quite a long ways yet. What does that imply for your shock cord mounts, etc...? Personally, I would extend it but, I don't think it is necessary.

There is no problem with shock cords ect...
The entire aft section is closed off and all fittings will be well above the motor.
