Big rockets flying low are pretty cool... and easy to recover. B4-2 is a really good motor for that kind of flight.

I'm just curious how you made out with the suggestions? Back in the 60s when I was into rockets I probably lost more than I recovered, especially the small light ones that tumbled down. The exception were two of my favorites, a V2 and a Whirly Bird that split apart and twirled down like a maple tree seed pod. The Whirly Bird was my favorite by far, and as best I can remember it came as some kind of bonus and was never offered in a catalog. I'm thinking it was from Estes but maybe it was a Centuri. Launching some of those ultra small rockets in our back yard probably didn't increase our chances of recovery ;)
