I'm designing a rocket in OpenRocket and would like to be able to add a distinguishable tip to the nose cone in the 3D finished view. Is this possible to do?

Thanks

two ways that I know of, 1) use an itty-bitty nose w/ a transition or 2) use a 'decal' (texture). if you examine the example rockets you'll see at least one that has what you're looking for(and use the decal for an example).

nicely done! probably the route I would take.

Thanks! I'm designing a duel deploy, mach busting, 2.6" diameter, all carbon fiber rocket for 54mm motors. Though I have no intention of actually building it, I'm having a blast deigning it (Next up I think I'll design a high performance rocket for N class motors:dark:).

Attached is a screen shot of what the design looks like so far.
