Prehaps do a universal type switch-out motor mount. Give the option of the 4X24mm or a 29mm mount.

Dual Deployment buildable of course.

"Tiny Fields in the Mountains of West Virginia"

Just my 2 cents worth...

He's making it hard on us "old" folks. ;)

You have to read the title of the poll to guess what he's talking about.

I voted "no", primarily because motors usually come in 3-packs. So I'd prefer a 3X 24mm cluster rocket over a 4X cluster.

how about a 6x cluster? that way it takes 2 packs evenly!

So buy 4 packs and fly 3 times! :)

Or buy two packs of AT (EconoJet) F21's and fly the rocket once. :) :)

I like to keep things easy!:D

Besides, half the time I go to the local hobby shop and they're down to just ONE pack of a particular motor.

On the other hand, a 4X cluster gives you mixing options...
i.e., two E9-6's and two D12-5's. Or two C11-7's and two D12-5's.

You could even plug two MMT's, and fly it on two motors.

And with a pair of adapters, you could mix 24mm's with 18mm's.

So maybe 4 MMT's isn't so bad after all.:D

I like a 4-cluster of 18mm motors in a bt-80.

Then I could really go thru the mountain of bulk-pack motors I accumulated from the 50% coupons at Michaels.

It'd really be cool if it was a scale design also.
And not the ARIES. Thats been kitted already.

Us Rockets sells a 3X24mm kit, the Aero-roc.

Reasonable at 38 bucks and if it is the same quality as the Banshee that I bought, then I think I will be ordering one soon.
