Just wanted to see how far gone I am!!!
I have no idea...
1000+ Unbuilt kits.
But, that's nothing compared to some other folks.
Thank goodness someone is "worse" than me!!!!
I've built 221 and have another 481 kits waiting to be built....Excluding parts and plans for scratch builds, clones, upscales, etc....
Note that the kits are from 60+ vendors, but Estes accounts for about 47% of the total.
I have about 2-3 dozen ready to fly. Another half dozen or so that only need paint and other finishing touches. About 50 unbuilt not yet started. 2-3 that are in active build status. And about a dozen in the trees at my one launch site.
More than I need.
Yes Derek, but its never more than you want......
I feel like an amateur! I have around 10, but I can't manage to fly them all on a weekend launch, so it doesn't seem like I need more. I'm always building something, though.
about 110 built and in flying condition, a couple hanger queens, and exactly 122 in the build pile.
Too much (running out of room)…..
Not enough (need to build more)
Not sure, but they are slowly taking over the garage. Pretty much all low-power. This year the following completed kit builds were added to my collection: Mean Machine, Alpha, Alpha VI, Black Brandt III, Mini Max, Tiddlywink & GyROC. A few kits were added to the build pile: Prowler, Star Rider, Nemesis, Vanguard Eagle, Mini-A-Heli, Rose-A-Roc. Finishing up a a scratch and a clone the last few weeks of this year but painting will be weather dependent, and made a few cardstock clones, Mini Tri Pak was one of my favorites.
I think I have about a dozen, probably that many more that survived childhood in my parent's attic too. Then there are 2 kits I want and haven't ordered, the kits I have that I might want in a larger size, the ideas for scratch builds in a notebook, rocket related books, etc....
I’m at about 15, and inching upwards slowly.
My LPR count is 'bout 100 built and maybe the same unbuilt. I also have maybe 50 HPR built and about the same unbuilt. Can't really compare a 10 foot tall Sandhawk to a 10 inch tall DRM.
About 45 right now, trying to pace myself
Not that many. But all together they weigh about 240 lb.
More than what the WIFE knows about, a LOT more !
Stopped counting a long time ago....
"we have Bunchems daddy" according to the little one.
Now + 1, its a hobbyist paradox. Four on the shelf, 7 in build (too cold to paint in CO right now), three in planning, and next Friday will probably be a stop by the local hobby store for a purchase
Almost finished with #3.
I have few new unbuilt kits. (5-6).
I am so looking forward to some time off work between Christmas and New Years to get back in the garage.
It's probably around 100 rockets total with 10-15 in the repair/rebuild pile and 50 still in the package kits.
Five HPR, around 10 LPR/MPR.
Less flight ready, some needing repairs, more partially ready and most in boxes.
I have over 450 un-built kits. 5 in the build pile and about 15 in flying condition.
Somewhere between "a bunch" and "a passel"
12...5 MPR and 7 HPR.
25 years ago I had about a dozen LPRs.
Separate names with a comma.
