That looks to be about right, save the fact I spend much more time painting, and a crapload more time sanding!:)

I call BS...there is no way you are only spending 15% sanding. That is like 80% of the build time.

but it's my great planes sanding bar that i'm always losing! hehe

HOLY CRAP!!!
You can see your workbench? That thing is a blame MUSEUM!!! You can actually MOVE in that place!

:)

A few questions though... Why do you have:
Urine in jars on the shelf...
Beer on the workbench...
A cigarette lighter in a change container...
And a MAD CHEF looking clock above the bench?

:)

I Agree I spend at least half my time sanding. The worst part of any build.

You left out one important slice of the pie...day dreaming of your next build, or how this build will look painted and what motor to fly in it. I spend at least 5 to 10% of the time just dreaming. I'm not counting the hours I lay in bed thinking about a project when I can not sleep.

Time in MY shop:

1. 10% Playing the Led Zeppelin Pinball machine in the shop bathroom.
2. 20% Thinking/Dreaming/Scheming up new projects.
3. 5% Actually building something.
4. 15% Repairing something broken after flying.
5. 40% Waiting on glue too dry.
6. 5% Reading/Meditating/Squeezing in the shop bathroom.
7. 5% Actually working on something non Rocketry related...

Give or take a few percentage points...
