OK. I go to Jimz's website to look for plans and such. But, not all of them are in PDF format, some are only in Quicktime. My question is: How do I get the images to be the scale I need to print out. i.e. I want to print a copy of the fins, but I want to make sure they are the right size, so how do I save/print etc.

That is a very tough question, It all depends on the format of the file.
I have found if the file is a TIFF they are already scaled correctly. if they are not they may not be. and the only thing you can do is figure what the size should be.

some files have a "ruler" to show scale. the ones that don't it is hit ans miss.
