How do I get prerelease OpenRocket builds?

I've been hearing cool things about new OpenRocket features like pods, and I'd like to try them out.
I can't find anything on their site or in the GitHub project about beta builds or whatever, so how do I get new versions to try out?

The new version of OpenRocket is not ready for a beta release at this time. Please be patient... it will be well worth it.

You can download from the github repository and compile from the command line using the instructions at https://github.com/openrocket/openrocket/wiki/Instructions-to-Build-from-Terminal
There are also instructions out there for running from eclipse, but the last few people who've reported on that have been completely frustrated by the process -- they seem much happier with IntelliJ IDEA
