Having attended NSL the two recent times is was held in Alamogordo, I had the opportunity to tour the observatory a couple times.
The area is beautiful and the vistas breathtaking. All in all, what a cool place to do science, but I imagine the winter months are difficult.
I was stunned when the news broke and the idyllic memories of the location was diminished.
Now the rest of the story has been detailed in the courtroom and the responsible people identified.
