I've never used a cooling mesh but my Centuri USS America had a cooling baffle, so did the Estes Bandit.

Just as an FYI, FlisKits will be announcing a whole family of Baffle Kits. We hope to be able to annouce them at NARAM (depends on the timing of some material orders coming in and time to get the instructions done...)

The ones that we are planning would fit BT-50, 55, 60 & 70 tubes.
