We currently use an 808 #16 camera for onboard rocket videos. Ours has the D-lens which has a nice wide field of view resulting in less shaky videos.
I have heard that the RunCam2 is good, but its extra weight might limit the rockets that it could fly on.
Here's the specs for the 2 cameras mentioned:
Mobius Mini D-Lens - $60, 17 gm, 120 degree field of view, 240fps
RunCam2 - $80, 49gm, 120 degree field of view, 240fps
There must be more high speed cameras that are smaller than an action cam, aren't there? Does anyone know if there are better cameras for taking slow motion onboard rocket videos?
