If they are really doing energetic material I would suggest some shielding.

This appears to be standard thermoplastic filament with nox. Can get some interesting grain geometries.

Agreed, but I wonder whether they're making rocket fuel (stuff that burns) for a hybrid rather than rocket propellant (fuel+ oxidizer; stuff that burns + stuff that provides oxygen). I didn't see anything in the article that specifically suggested either one.
