I painted up an Estes Hi-Flier XL in the colors/logo of my local indoor soccer team (MASL, Harrisburg Heat). I don't plan to use more than D engines in it, unless I get perfect conditions, etc. Hope you like it...

First flight was a C11-3, just to see how it went. No problems at all, next up will be a D12-5. Didn't drift too far, no complaints at all. :)

Nice display stands. Were those pre-made panels, or did you edge those yourself on the router table?

I bought them from Hobby Lobby, and I drilled a 1/2" hole in the center for a 1/2" rod. Then I put an cut down 18mm motor casing on that. For rockets that use a 24mm motor mount, I attached a used 24mm motor casing around the 18mm casing.

I've used many of those little panels for stands. Get them at Michael's for like a buck or two apiece, they come in all shapes and sizes. I think they're intended for plaques or something like that.

I love our hiflier xl, we also did a custom paint job...it flys great! We got 702' on a D12.

it spent about 2 hours in this pond after the E15 flight. Dried it out and flew it again a month later

Awesome! That is funny, the hiflier xl is my daughters rocket...she had to paint it teal though lolol. I'm glad to see it survived the pond. We only have 3 or 4 flights on ours. Hope to add to it soon!
